Nursery Caregiver
Nursery Caregiver
Lake Avenue Church is currently seeking part-time Nursery Caregivers in our Early Childhood Ministries. This is a ministry position providing care and leadership for the nursery program during worship services and special events. At this time, our caregiver team works on an as needed basis, predominantly on the weekends, with some hours during weekdays, some holidays and special ministry events.
Individuals best suited for this position will possess the following qualifications:
- A deep love for early childhood aged children and a heart for working in our nurseries.
- Exemplary life of wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ.
- Ability to create and maintain a safe environment for children.
- Ability to promote harmonious working relationships with staff, volunteers, and parents.
- Knowledge of of and experience in early childhood development (birth-5 years) is a plus.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, playing with children, praying with them, facilitating snack time, and general interaction with toddlers and parents
- Agree to uphold the LAC Statement of Faith.
This position is part-time, non-exempt, and does not include benefits.
