Jeanine Smith serves LAC as the Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries. This pastoral role gives leadership to LAC’s diverse array of ministries with and for adults, including young adults, seniors, discipleship communities, care, prayer, relational health and more.
Jeanine has a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Fuller Theological Seminary. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Ministries and in Interpersonal Communications from Seattle Pacific University. Jeanine has a special focus in her studies on conflict resolution, placing a high value on redeeming and reconciling relationships.
She brings a collaborative vision for leadership, which empowers staff and lay leaders to bring their full gifts and passions to our ministries. Additionally, Jeanine has a passion to see diverse people and groups come together in the name of Jesus to bring the good news of our Savior reconciling and redeeming our broken world.
Jeanine and her husband Eric have made their home in Southern California since 2000 and have been a part of the LAC family since 2018. Together with their two children, they enjoy watersports, laser tag, board games and s’mores. Left alone, she returns to her Seattle roots, enjoying espresso and reading books.
