Dear ,
Today's Friday video comes to us from Pastor Mathew P. John as he shares some insights into the subject of this Sunday's message on the gift of Peace - the second of four gifts in our Advent Series “Unwrapped.” For more information about our Advent series visit: https://www.lakeave.org/advent2021
In addition, Pastor Jeanine (and special friends) share some important information about making room for our guests this Christmas by parking at Gateway Plaza, taking signups for greeters for Christmas Eve, and a special book sale and giveaway. Check out the information below!

Parking Needs As more people return to in-person attendance on Sundays morning, this means we need to make more space, and in particular, for those with special needs. Please save our underground parking for those with handicap placards and mobility issues. Additionally, please remember to park at Gateway Plaza in order to make space in our Parking Lot for our guests. We have ample parking and shuttles run every 5-7 minutes. If you need to deliver large items to the church and want to drop them off in the Underground Parking loading zone, you are welcome to do so. Simply move your car afterward.
Greeting & Hospitality Needs for December 24 Please consider being a part of our greeting and hospitality team while joining us for worship on Christmas Eve at the 4 pm Family Service, or the 8 pm Candlelight Service. Contact Nancy Smith at or 626.817.4568.
Books! Books! Books! We are saying thank you and goodbye as we close our book and library ministries as we prepare to make space for increased online ministry. This Sunday and next we are selling new books for $5 and $10 in the Worship Center Lobby, as well as offering gently used library books for a donation with proceeds going to Children’s Ministry. Cash and checks are accepted.

We look forward to seeing you in person this Sunday at our new start time - 9:30 am. As always you can stream our service online on Facebook or YouTube and on-demand anytime. We hope to see you there. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
