Our desire is to plant the seeds for a lifetime of faith in the hearts of our children. We strive to build a foundation through bible exploration, real life application and relationship with folks who are living their lives for Jesus. We have discovered that developing this foundation is not something we can do on our own and requires a much greater mutual commitment between parents, staff and volunteers.

Our Adult Ministries at Lake Avenue Church provides opportunities and communities for spiritual growth where hurts are healed, where friendships are developed, where authentic relationships are built, where marriages are strengthened, families are bonded, where singles are valued, where love is alive, where God is understood, and where Jesus Christ is Lord.

Outreach Ministries

Outreach believes the task of loving our neighbor, whether down the street or across the world, has been given to the whole LAC family to participate in through stewarding and practically applying our diverse stories, talents and gifts; all in service of the gospel.

Worship & the Arts

We are a community of artists serving Christ within the Lake Avenue Church family, across the greater Los Angeles are, and beyond. We are on a path of growth as individuals and as a community. We ask God to show us how we might use the gifts He has given for His glory, to teach us what it means to worship Him in spirit and in truth, and how best to lead our church family into worship when we gather.

Our theme, "Growing Together," highlights our mission to connect people relationally to community, where we can grow in our love for Christ and one another through biblical reflection, mutual care and support and service.
