Jesus Living at Nazareth and Visiting Jerusalem in His Twelfth Year Luke 2:40-52
On a journey, Jesus’ parents over hills and valleys anxiously searched for Him. They should have known He was safe for His heavenly Father was with Him. Regardless, they should have immediately gone to the Fathers house. Even if he wasn’t there, they could have prayed over this predicament. Always go to God first.
John the Baptist’s Person and Preaching Matthew 3:1-12; Mark 1:1-8; Luke 3:1-18; John 1:19-28
A journey in the wilderness is presented to us. A crooked path with ups and downs. Unless we surrender to our GUIDE by confession, repentance, and forgiveness of sins, we won’t make it. If we surrender, our path will be made straight, our load will be light and we’ll make it to the promised land.
Jesus Baptized by John in the Jordan Matthew 3:13-17; Mark 1:9-11; Luke 3:21,22; John 1:29-34
Since the Holy Spirit came over Jesus, we can take heart that the Spirit will be with us too. Jesus gives it to us. Through confession of sins, repentance, and forgiveness, God says to us like He said to Jesus, we are His sons and daughters, for whom He is well pleased.

Genealogy According to Luke - Luke 3:23-38
He may have used scientific (he was a physician) theory for investigation. He had doubts. He created a believable foundation based on truth of Jesus. He rested his case on that.
