Samaritan's Purse

Samaritan's Purse is International Disaster Relief Agency that has been authorized to go into devasted areas to help home owners and renters by searching through debris to recover personal items. For homeowners in need of assistance with personal content recovery call 833.747.1234 and press option 5 for the Eaton Fire. Grief counseling support is also available.

Debris Removal Right of Entry Application
Deadline: Monday, March 31
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will only perform Debris Removal if the Right of Entry (ROE) is completed. Residents must fill out a (ROE) Form using the Los Angeles County website below. https://recovery.lacounty.gov/debris-removal/roe/

Christian Legal Aid Clinics

We are forming a new ministry partnership with Christian Legal Aid of Los Angeles to offer pro bono legal assistance for the survivors of the fire disaster.

We will be organizing Disaster Relief Legal Clinics:
Saturday, Feb. 22, 1-4 pm • HH 400 (Skyroom)

We will help you with:

• Navigating insurance claims
• Filing FEMA applications and appeals
• Addressing landlord-tenant issues
• Recovering important documents such as Social Security Cards, Real Estate Titles, etc.

The legal team will include attorneys and legal interns who offer both spiritual support and legal guidance. Please encourage anyone who is a survivor of the fire disaster to attend these clinics.

Relief Grants for Eaton & Palisades Households

If you have been physically displaced due to the Eaton & Palisades fires and windstorm events, you may be eligible for grants of $6,000, $12,000, or $18,000.

Application Period: Feb 26 - March 12, 2025

Eligibility: LA County residents (homeowners or tenants) affected by the disaster depending on household size and composition.

Online Only Application: Application and guide are available in English, Spanish, Armenian, Tagalog, Chinese, Persian, and Russian. In-person assistance in English and Spanish will be available to help applicants complete their applications online. More details will be released at a later date.

Red Cross Immediate Financial Assistance Help

To see if you qualify for financial assistance, please complete and submit their form by February 26, 2025.

If you have received an invitation to apply for financial assistance, please call 1-800-RED-CROSS (800-733-2767) to speak to an agent about completing your enrollment.

Living Spaces extends its heartfelt support to the communities and families impacted by the recent wildfires. Los Angeles is their home, and they want to stand with you in recovering and rebuilding from the devastation. The Mission of the Los Angeles Region Community Recovery Organization is to coordinate disaster recovery resources in affected areas to address disaster- caused recovory needs and strengthen the resilience of impacted individuals.

LACO Parks is opening FREE Youth Care Camps at select LA County Park locations to provide a supportive and safe environment for children and families impacted by the fires. Better Angels

Better Angels, a nonprofit organization dedicated to solving the homelessness epidemic in Los Angeles, has launched the Emergency Assistance Fund (EAF) to provide critical support to low-income individuals and families. The EAF offers emergency financial assistance ranging from $500 to $1,500, depending on family size and circumstances. These funds can be used to meet urgent needs such as food, clothing, and other essentials. Most importantly, these grants do not require repayment.

Preparedness Resources

The church wants to help you. If you are asked to evacuate, the church is providing temporary shelter. A hospitality station is set up for you to charge your phone, use the bathroom or internet while you look for temporary housing. If you need temporary housing fill out the form and let us know. You can also email [email protected] or call 626.817.4856. Even if you are safe but have been impacted by the fires, let us know through the form. We want to know you are safe!
