Samaritan's Purse

Samaritan's Purse is International Disaster Relief Agency that has been authorized to go into devasted areas to help home owners and renters by searching through debris to recover personal items. For homeowners in need of assistance with personal content recovery call 833.747.1234 and press option 5 for the Eaton Fire. Grief counseling support is also available.

LA County Recovers Resources

LA County Recovers is a webpage that has all the details of the various state and local agencies that you may need in your recovery process. They will all be located at the Pasadena City College Community Education Center, located at 3035 E. Foothill Blvd. Pasadena, CA, 91107 from 9 am to 8 pm daily.

LACO Parks Free Youth Care Camps

LACO Parks is opening FREE Youth Care Camps at select LA County Park locations to provide a supportive and safe environment for children and families impacted by the fires. Full-day custodial camps will serve families under mandatory evacuations or displaced due to the fires. Arboretum Arcadia and other select locations.

STARS Disaster Relief Resources

STARS is a non-profit organization that provides a variety of preparatory and educational programs in Pasadena area for youth. They have prepared a details page of additional information that may be valuable.

Better Angels

Better Angels, a nonprofit organization dedicated to solving the homelessness epidemic in Los Angeles, has launched the Emergency Assistance Fund (EAF) to provide critical support to low-income individuals and families. The EAF offers emergency financial assistance ranging from $500 to $1,500, depending on family size and circumstances. These funds can be used to meet urgent needs such as food, clothing, and other essentials. Most importantly, these grants do not require repayment.

Preparedness Resources

The church wants to help you. If you are asked to evacuate, the church is providing temporary shelter. A hospitality station is set up for you to charge your phone, use the bathroom or internet while you look for temporary housing. If you need temporary housing fill out the form and let us know. You can also email [email protected] or call 626.817.4856. Even if you are safe but have been impacted by the fires, let us know through the form. We want to know you are safe!

Below is a list of resources we’ve compiled that may be helpful whether you are preparing to evacuate or are rebuilding in the aftermath of having your home burned to the ground. The church is committed to walking alongside you and more information will be added to this page with the available help and support.

As the devastation from LA Fires grows, so does the list of staff, church, and community members who have been impacted. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Most who have been displaced have found temporary housing, the church is ready to aid those currently evacuating. A temporary shelter has been set up at the church and we are currently accepting the following:

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Bottled water
  • Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, combs, etc.)

You can email [email protected], call (626) 817-4856, or fill out the form to let us know if you are able to drop off supplies or provide temporary housing. Plans are being formed to aid those who face having to rebuild their lives after having lost their home. Join us in a virtual prayer room or give to our special relief fund for fire victims. The needs will continue to unfold and this page will be updated with ways you can help.

Financial support for fire victims can be given to our special Fire Relief Fund, which has been set up to support the relocation and recovery of impacted families.
