Dr. Daniel U. Riihimaki passed away on August 10, 2020 at the age of 90. Dan is preceded in death by his first wife, Florence, and his daughter, Lisa; and survived by his wife, Sharon; three children [Karen, Lauri (Lor), and Andrew]; three step-children (Kristin, David, and Stephanie); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dan had a long and full life that included a rewarding medical career at City of Hope, rich family life, church involvements, and ministry outreach (at home and abroad). During his long history at Lake Avenue Church, he found great joy actively participating in worship services, the Care Ministry Team, and the Voyagers class. He was a man of many interests, talents, and abilities, and enjoyed giving of his time. Dan will be greatly missed by his family and those who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to either the Care Ministry at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena or to the City of Hope.
