Philippians 3:12-14
Spend some time reflecting on this past year:
What was most life giving for you?
What was most life draining for you?
Read Philippians 3:12-14
What is the “goal” that Paul references in verses 12 and 14? What is the danger of assuming we have “already arrived” or “obtained” the goal (vs. 12)?
What are the things that Paul is resolved to “forget” in verse 13? What are some of the things you need to leave behind this year—lies, behaviors, faulty worldviews, past achievements, pride, apathy, etc.—that are holding you back in your spiritual journey?
How can you “press on” and “strain toward what is ahead” in your faith in 2020? What obstacles might get in your way? What are some spiritual practices you may need to implement in order to walk with Christ more intimately this year?
