Join Our Tech Team – Volunteer and Make a Difference in Our Worship Experience!

Are you passionate about technology, creativity, or serving others? We're looking for volunteers to help enhance our worship services by supporting our technical team. Whether you're interested in audio, video, lighting, or stage management, there's a role for you to make an impact behind the scenes.

Serving Positions:

Audio level mixing for the Worship Center (House), supporting performers & teaching for services.

Audio level mixing for the Online Video Broadcast.

Audio level mixing to support stage performers for in ears or stage monitors.

Timely blending of multiple cameras & graphic images. Supporting our online worship service by selecting properly framed images from cameras.

Switching with multiple cameras with graphic images, control camera light levels, and selecting properly framed images from cameras.

The TD position will understand the blending of multiple video sources. We use three cameras -person controlled, multiple stationary cameras, & an image/graphics computer which is a lot of video sources. Communicating is key with cameras, graphics, lights, and audio team members. The TD will need to have an understanding of directing for I-MAG (Image magnification) for our worshipers distant from the stage, within the worship center. Our online viewers who are not available to attend, or watching from another place. And the replay viewer (those who will view the service at a later date.) The TD will be previewing cameras & graphics to add live into service program. Understanding the switcher console, dissolves (changing from one source to another), rates (how long the change takes), overlays (combining two video sources at the same time), and use with graphics (adding titles over video live). The TD will plan camera locations for the best views, watch the pre-service rehearsals to take notes, and what views from the different cameras will blend well.

To become familiar with the equipment and process, you’ll train alongside a TD to understand the switcher console. Learn communication (giving proper camera movement) with the camera operators & graphic. As training continues from week to week, you will be building comfort to step into the role of TD.
