We are excited to launch our very first SummerFest! Our inaugural theme is "Love Thy Neighbor." God has called each of us to be a bridge and a reflection of Christ's love for those around us. This event will give us the opportunity to reach beyond our walls and invite those out in the community to share in an evening of fellowship together.
There will be live music, a variety of food, games, a bounce house, and a dunk tank which will feature your LAC Pastoral Staff! Bring a blanket, a lawn chair, and wear something comfy as you sit and enjoy performances by incredible musicians such as J. Mike and Friends featuring Aretha Scruggs and Cameron Evans, Galaxy Shores, and Michael Girgis!
We encourage each person in our LAC Family to bring at least one guest who has never been to our campus and is longing for community.
ABOUT PARKING & SHUTTLEPark at Gateway Plaza, 300 N. Mentor Ave. starting at 5 pm and ride the shuttle over to our event. Limited parking for those with Handicap stickers/placards will be available on-site in the West Parking Lot on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Come and serve in this opportunity to build a bridge with those in our community! The pre-event setup time is TBD but it will be sometime late morning/mid-day. Other than that, we ask that between the time frame of 5:30-9:30 pm, you can commit to just one hour of time to serve! Please select a one-hour time slot you wish to serve. The areas that need volunteers include tasks such as assisting with parking, greeting new visitors, games/ bounce house/ table monitoring, west side sanctuary monitoring, and clean up. Please prayerfully consider serving in this event as we welcome those in the Pasadena community and beyond to SummerFest!
