As a child, I attended LAC with my family every Sunday and loved going to Sunday school and spending time with the community after service. I remember the joy I felt, even as a child, of being part of such a welcoming community who were always so glad to see me and my family.
As our family went through health struggles at the time, LAC was always a place that we knew would be there for prayer, support, and an extended hand of help. In recent years, there has been an increase in the epidemic of loneliness and division within our surrounding communities. We live in a time where the concept of hope is something that is rarely spoken of.
As I have stepped into my new role at LAC and have had the chance to really get to know the leadership and staff here, I can confidently say that there is a strong passion for community, hope, and love which is all inspired by our core desire to reflect Christ! I’m so thankful that all of LAC is united in launching SummerFest on July 13.
We are so excited to create a space where not only our church family can gather to enjoy each other’s company, but also, to build a bridge to our Pasadena community. We desire to extend a handout to everyone in our community and invite them to SummerFest so that we can all share a joyous evening of music, food, and games together! We ask that each person from the church invite five or more who have never been to a church to come and fellowship with us at the doorstep of Lake! We invite you to join us as we prayerfully and actively build a bridge to our community - for His Kingdom!
